Alfredo Gomez-Cobo of Woodbridge passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center at Rahway. He was 79 years old.

Born in Cali, Colombia; He resided in Woodbridge for the past   30 years.

Mr. Gomez-Cobo was a Carpenter for many years before retiring.

He was a Communicant of St. James R.C. Church in Woodbridge.

Alfredo was a loving, husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather and will always be remembered for his zest for life, his amazing sense of humor, and most of all his loving heart.

He is survived by his daughters Maria Gimma, Olga Hemingway, and Valentina Gomez; his sisters Ligia Gaona; two brothers William Cobo and Mario Gomez; three grandchildren Andy Gimma, Amy Gimma, and Katylynn Gimma.

A funeral liturgy will take place on Thursday, March 31, 2016 10:30 a.m. at St. James R.C. Church, Woodbridge.
