Josephmari "Alfred" Daniel of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.  He was 72 years old.

Born in Haiti, he resided in New York before moving to Avenel 18 years ago.

Mr. Daniel was a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel.

He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Aline Doussaina Daniel.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Michele Lecorps Daniel, children, Shidine Daniel, Sarah Daniel and Alec Daniel; brothers and sisters, George Daniel, Susan Laurenceau, Rene Daniel, Maud Oriol, Jane Marcel, and Jean-Marie Daniel; and grandchildren, Jaida, Nyah, and Amauri.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 10:45 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 11:15 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel.  Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation for family and friends will take place on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
