Alfred Angelo of the Menlo Park Terrace section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Roosevelt Care Center in Old Bridge. He was 69 years old.
Born in Rahway; He resided in Avenel before moving to Menlo Park Terrace 23 years ago.
Mr. Angelo was employed at Bill's V.W. Wrecking in Avenel for many years prior to being employed at Riverside Auto in Avenel and Middlesex Armature in Colonia.
He was an Auxiliary member of The Avenel V.F.W. Post #7164. His passion for sports was unwavering as he would never miss a Green Bay Packers, New York Yankees, or an Alabama Crimson Tide game.
He was predeceased by his father Anthony Angelo and his mother Evelyn Angelo.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Karen Angelo; a son, Joseph Angelo and his wife Vanessa of Woodbridge; two daughters, Melissa Stevens and her husband Brian of Brick, and Melanie Angelo of Las Vegas, Nevada; and was "Pop-Pop" to four grandchildren: Tyler, Alexa, Joseph Jr., and Noelle.
He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed.
Private funeral services took place under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge, NJ. Interment was in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.
