Obituary

Alejandro (Alex) Nieves Tabora, 74, of Fords, New Jersey passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.

Alejandro was born in, and lived much of his life in, the Philippines before immigrating to the United States in 2013.

An Operations Manager by trade, Alejandro worked for the Mega Data Corporation throughout the Metro Manila area. Alejandro was also a proud member of the Sigma Chapter of the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity.

Alejandro, affectionately known as Alex, was known for his kindness, infectious smile, quick wit, being an avid consumer of news and politics, and regularly playing recreational ping-pong at the local community center.

He was predeceased by his loving parents, Florentino and Librada Tabora; sister, Gilda; and brothers, José and Manuel.

Alejandro is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Marife Tabora (née Dela Cruz); son, Patrick of Old Bridge Township; daughter, Kathrina, of Pasig City, Philippines; and many nieces and nephews.

A viewing and celebration of life will be held at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home in Woodbridge on Monday, September 30th from 3:00 -7:00pm.
