Obituary

Albert Cipas passed away peacefully at his home in the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township on Friday, February 5, 2021. He was 88 years old.

Born on October 5, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY, he has resided in Colonia for 58 years.

He was employed with Dow Jones and Company in South Brunswick for 42 years before retiring as an Associate Director of Communications.

Mr. Cipas was a communicant of Saint John Vianney Catholic Church in Colonia. He enjoyed gardening, fine dining and spending time with family. He supported and volunteered at the church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sophie and Angelo Cipas; and brother, Jack Cipas.

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Thomassine Murray Cipas; children, Diane Pernice and her husband, Mel, of Somerset, Duane Cipas and his wife, Jeanne, of Linden, Denise Beach and her husband, Douglas, of Old Bridge, Paul Cipas and his wife, Gail, of Monmouth Junction, Elizabeth Pallay and her husband John, of Hawley, Pennsylvania; John Cipas of Morganville and James Cipas and his wife, Chris, of Colts Neck; and grandchildren, Samantha, Justin, Kyle, Olivia, Tommy, Nicholas, Jack and Alex.

Funeral services were private under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Association Greater New Jersey in Mr. Cipas' memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.
