Obituary

Agnes "Hazel" Pichalski of Manchester passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at home. She was 81 years old. Born in Manhattan, NY; She resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township before moving to Manchester 15 years ago. Mrs. Pichalski and her family owned and operated The Maple Tree Tavern in Avenel for many years. She was a Communicant of St. Andrew's R.C. Church in Avenel, and was a member of The Avenel Democratic Club and The New Jersey A.B.A.T.E.. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony "Jr." Pichalski who passed away in 1990; her son Gary Pichalski; her parents George and Anne Foote; and her sister Lorraine Dick. She is survived by three sons Anthony "T.J." Pichalski, Jr. of Rockaway, Daniel Pichalski of Roselle Park,NJ, and Michael Heller of California; a sister Carol Rotolo of East Keansburg, NJ; and six Grandchildren Alicia, Briana, A.J., Kayle, Christopher, and Amy. Funeral will take place Friday, March 6, 2015 9:30 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (www.Costello-koyen.com) 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. Andrew's R.C. Church, Avenel. Interment will be in St. James Cemetery, Woodbridge. Visiting hours will be Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
