Adolph J. "Al" Dusko passed away on Monday November 11, 2013 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 85 years old. Born in East Brunswick, he resided in Carteret before moving to Woodbridge 64 years ago. Mr. Dusko was employed as an instrument technician with US Metals Refining Company in Carteret for 50 years before retiring in 1999. He was a member of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge. Al always enjoyed helping others by using his technical knowledge. He was predeceased by three sisters, Mary Sena, Leona Dusko and Edna Gorecki. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Helen Nemedy Dusko; a daughter, Debra Blake and her husband, Edward, of Howell; a son, Bruce Dusko and his wife, Sherry, of Gulf Shores, AL; two grandchildren, Jeffrey and Scott Dusko; two step grandchildren, Edward and Kerri; five great grandchildren, Tyler, Riley, Morgan, Jake and Brody; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. from the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge. Entombment will be in Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Friday from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make a contribution in Al's memory to the charity of your choice.
